If you are an experienced Ruby Developer, our clients want to speak with you. 

We have several current openings for Ruby Developers with our premier clients in the New York City Metro area (mostly NYC, remote during COVID-19). Please Note: These are full-time roles and not contracting -- Please do not respond with requests to contract. 

They are seeking exceptional candidates with the following skills:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience with Ruby in a large-scale environment.
• A minimum of seven (7) years demonstrable experience in a hands-on development capacity producing large internally-facing or customer-facing applications. Candidates with a portfolio of work they can show in production or demonstrate are more desirable.
• Experience in developing back-end solutions OR experience with full-stack development experience (front-end experience won't be sufficient for these roles).
• Experience with at least 1-2 databases and database structures (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Snowflake, Hadoop, etc.)
• Experience with migration or re-platforming/conversion of a major application in a Web environment.
• Experience with web services, either microservice architecture or monolithic service architecture. If you have experience in migrating from monolithic to microservice, that's a plus.
• Proficiency with other languages, such as Go, C##, React, Node, NodeJS, Java
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or fluid requirements.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban as a participant or in a team leadership role
