We are seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer to support a group within the Firmware Engineering Department. We need a creative engineer who has strong embedded system knowledge and firmware development experience.  Someone that can apply expertise in embedded system's firmware design, development, and support for our next generation video streaming systems.

• Daily activities will include full life-cycle of design, development, modification, testing, debugging, and support of the new and existing Firmware for all our streaming products
• Work with the discipline leads and other engineers to create Module/Unit and Interface specification, implementation, integration and testing of the product

Skills/Qualifications                                                                           

• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required
• Candidates with 4+ years of experience will be considered
• Strong C or C++ programming skills required
• Solid understanding of various A/V compression formats such as H.264, MJPEG, MPEG2, AAC, MP3, AC3 etc.
• Understanding of various streaming concepts such as RTSP, RTP, RTCP, MPEG2TS, HLS, FEC, etc.
• Experience with communication networks and protocols
