Sr. Lead Software Engineer ~ 100% remote in U.S. 

This role will lead a small team of engineers who contribute new features and manage customer findings.  You will be the driving force behind the technical success of your team and will work with a tight-knit management team to secure a bright future for the product.  A successful candidate will enjoy programming and designing unique and challenging features, designing architecture with our architects, mentoring your staff, and ensuring your teams are aligned with the vision of the product.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team of 2-6 engineers and providing detailed direction to its members.
• Possesses extensive technical expertise on product, architecture, codebase, and problem domain.
• Research and diagnose complex technical problems, find root cause, provide recommendations, and drive resolution. 

Qualifications

• A minimum degree of a Bachelor of Engineering or Science is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of commercial software development experience is required.
• Superior written communication skills to develop strategies, policies, standards, templates and related technical materials.
• 2+ years’ experience leading teams using Scrum or other Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 8 years of C#.Net programming experience is required.
• Experience with multithreading programming is required.
• Strong understanding of separation of concern and object-oriented principles is required.
