QA Automation Engineer ~ 100% Remote in U.S.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Work as part of an Agile scrum team, focusing on testing Web applications and API
Review the Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, wireframes, workflows and UML diagrams and design
Design and implement acceptance criteria, test cases, and test plans for new and existing features
Perform functional, regression, smoke, performance and exploratory testing on all new and existing features
Report discovered issues with a clear detailed description

Skills/Qualifications

6+ years of experience as Software Engineer, Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET), Software Development Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation
Testing methods: Functional testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, Smoke testing, System testing, Integration testing, Sanity Testing
Automation Tools: Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Manual Testing, BDD, Postman, SOAP UI, IntelliJ
Bug Tracking Tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA
Programming Languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, NodeJS, SQL, C#
Build/CI Tools: Azure DevOps
Expertise in UI automation for Manual and Automation using Selenium
Experience in testing Microservices
Experience in contract-based testing using Pact and/or Spring Cloud Contract
Experience in creating and maintaining Test Plans and Test Cases in Azure DevOps
Experience in writing SQL statements to test the result of deployment for correct business logic for Back-end testing
Performed continuous integration automation using Azure DevOps
Worked on multiple projects and extensively involved in User Acceptance testing (UAT), End to End, Sanity Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Validation testing, Performance Testing, black box, white box and Cross - Browser testing
Expertise in Datawarehouse testing is a big plus especially using DBT framework
