JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and carry out information security plans and policies.
- Implementing security tools across the enterprise and production environments.
- Implement and monitor security instrumentation across the asset base.
- Identify and investigate risks and identify opportunities to address them.
- Installation and use of firewalls, data encryption and other security products and procedures
- Perform security scanning of infrastructure and applications to identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate testing with outside parties.
- Lead incident response activities.
- Advise product and engineering teams on secure practices.
- 4+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
- Expertise in security instrumentation, detection, and response.
- Experience with configuration automation tools (e.g. ansible, chef, puppet, etc).
- Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
- Google Cloud and Datacenter security experience
- Automating security testing tools
- Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention
- Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
