Job Description/Responsibilities
  • Conduct discovery to capture new goals and opportunities enterprises and users want to pursue as well as any challenges they’re experiencing
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Client Success, Learning Design, Program Operations, Marketing and Sales Enablement) to validate scope and plans, and to ensure flawless implementation of new capabilities
  • Draft and illustrate epics to signify those goals and what the hero or heroes of each epic must be able to accomplish
  • Decompose epics into story maps to clarify each task that the product must enable the heroes to complete to achieve the epic goal
  • Use the voice and language of the hero users to articulate acceptance criteria for user stories following INVEST principles
  • Closely collaborate with User Experience Designers to prepare, test and adapt flows, interactions and interfaces to accompany epics and stories.
  • Prepare product communications to socialize the value that we are delivering, including preparing documentation and conducting training to accompany new releases
Skills/Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a product management role releasing web and mobile products to deliver value to customers, preferably in the EdTech industry
  • Working knowledge of SaaS technical vocabulary, tasks and standards (e.g., configuration, integration, SAML, etc.)
  • Ability to contribute and respond to a fast-paced, agile practice as a member of a distributed organization using tools such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce
  • Experience operating in an environment with continuous development and release
